This is why we are immensely honored to join hands with Cleaning for a Reason - a wonderful, non-profit organization that has been matching cancer patients with professional home cleaners since 2006 to help them prevail in one of life’s toughest battles.

At Custom Cleaning of Palm Beaches, we wholeheartedly offer our cleaning services to cancer patients, providing solace and comfort during their difficult journey, completely free of charge. Below you will find a comprehensive rundown of services included, criteria for qualifying, and ways to help us make a difference.

What can I do to help?

Cleaning for a Reason has stringent guidelines for partnering companies, including rigorous hiring and vetting procedures for employees. Consequently, as part of our commitment to ensuring safety and quality, we are unable to accommodate volunteer cleaners.

However, if your heart is set on supporting a good cause, you can always donate some money to the organization to help them cover the costs of cleaning.

Who qualifies?

Men and women aged 19 or older, who have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, are eligible to apply and receive complimentary professional cleaning services for their homes.

Why do we offer this?

Cancer takes an immense toll not only on a person’s physical, mental, and emotional health but also on their energy and time, too. Constant doctor appointments, endless tests, and intensive treatments can overtake their schedule, making it nigh impossible to find the time for even the most mundane household chores.
Even in rare moments of respite, they’re often too exhausted to clean. The added stress of cleaning left undone, as well as an unhygienic environment that results from this, only further exacerbates the problem and hinders the healing process.
Our mission is to alleviate a large portion of this burden by taking care of the housekeeping tasks, allowing these courageous individuals to focus on their recovery with a lighter heart.

How can you get these services?

Head to the Cleaning for a Reason website and follow the instructions provided to apply. After that, their matchmaking system will connect you or your loved one with a local cleaning service and, if you reside somewhere in the Palm Beach area, there’s a high chance it will be us!

What is included in these services?

Once the organization approves your application, you will receive two professional cleanings per month per matched patient.

What if my loved one has another serious illness?

This partnership is dedicated exclusively to assisting cancer patients. However, we also welcome the support and thoughtful gestures from family and friends who may wish to enlist our help as a gift for their loved ones.
