The Fine Print of Recurring House Cleaning in Stuart: Arrival Windows, Access, Cancellations, and Guarantees

Most cleaning relationships do not end over a dirty sink. They end over a surprise. A fee nobody mentioned. A team that showed up at 9 when you expected 8. A key that went missing. Here are our house cleaning policies in plain words, so you know exactly how recurring service in Stuart works before you book.

Arrival Windows: What "8 AM" Really Means

We clean Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The only guaranteed arrival time is the first appointment of the day at 8 AM. Every other slot comes with a plus-or-minus 45-minute window, because the job before yours can run short or long.

You get a text or email reminder before each visit. Those go through a third-party sender, so please keep your cleaning day on your own calendar too. Once in a while the team stays past 5 to finish a job. Saturdays are available on request for special occasions.

Getting In When You Are Not Home

You do not need to be home. Most clients give us access one of three ways: an electronic door keypad, a garage keypad, or a lockbox placed on the property. We can provide a secure lockbox for $30. We do not hold house keys for residential clients, which also means a key cannot be lost with your address attached to it.

If you have an alarm, turn it off for the day or give us the code and steps. We reset it when we leave. In a gated community, add Neat and Repeat Cleaning to the gate house vendor list and send us every code before the first visit. If the team is held up at the gate, billing starts when they arrive.

The Closed-Door Rule

A closed door tells the team to skip that room. No note needed. If a door is closed for another reason, like keeping a cat out of the garage, call the office so we add it to your notes.

Please put valuables, heirlooms, and one-of-a-kind items away before each visit. For safety, the team does not move anything over 20 pounds and only cleans what a 3-step ladder, a 6-foot ladder, or an extension pole can reach. We also cannot be responsible for wall hangings that are not on proper wall hooks.

Cancellations, Lockouts, and Weather Days

Cancellation policies cause more arguments than anything else, so here is ours. There is no long-term contract. You can pause or cancel service at any time. What we ask for is notice, because your slot is held for you and we do not overbook.

  • More than 48 business hours before your visit: no charge.

  • Between 24 and 48 business hours: 50 percent of the job fee.

  • Less than 24 business hours, or a lockout on the day: 100 percent of the job fee.

Weather works the other way. If severe weather closes local schools, we usually close too, since most of our staff have small children. We call you to reschedule. With hurricane season running June 1 through November 30, it is worth knowing that up front. We also close on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. If your visit falls on one of those, we reach out one to two weeks ahead to move it.

Pets, Air Conditioning, and a Few Honest Limits

We love our clients' pets. Please keep them out of the areas being cleaned, since the team cannot move pets from room to room. We cannot pick up animal waste, and for health reasons we cannot clean homes with a flea or bed bug infestation.

Leave the air conditioning running. If the indoor temperature is above 78 degrees when the team arrives, or if the water or power is off, they cannot clean, and the full visit is still charged. The same goes for indoor smoking. We are a smoke-free company, and we cannot assign teams to homes where smoking happens inside.

If Something Is Missed or Broken

If an area was missed or you are not happy with part of the clean, tell the office within 24 hours and we work to make it right. We do not issue refunds or credits. We fix it.

If something breaks, the team leaves a note on site and the office calls you. We may repair or replace the item. Curious who shows up when your regular cleaner is sick? That has its own post. For one-of-a-kind pieces, we ask for a documented value to settle fairly. Technicians may take before-and-after photos of work areas on initial and one-time cleanings, never of personal items. You can decline photos by signing a waiver, but the satisfaction guarantee does not apply without them.

Payment, Tips, and Supplies

Residential service is billed to a card on file the day of each visit, and a paid invoice is emailed to you. Recurring clients receive a discount on service. The first visit is usually an initial deep clean priced by labor hours, and we explain how that works here. Tips are never required. If you want to leave one, put cash on the kitchen counter with a note, add it on your scorecard, or call the office to add it to your card.

We bring all supplies and equipment, including HEPA-filter vacuums. If you prefer your own products, tell us in advance and we note it for every visit. For ongoing service, we ask that you keep a safe ladder on site for the team to use.

Every policy above is also in our full FAQs and Terms of Service. If a policy question is holding you back from booking, call our Stuart office at 772-220-7915. We would rather answer it now than surprise you later. Then explore customized cleaning plans in Stuart or our house cleaning service in Stuart.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be home during the cleaning?

No. Most clients give us a door keypad code, a garage keypad code, or a lockbox. We can supply a lockbox for $30. We do not hold house keys for residential clients.

How much notice do I need to cancel a cleaning?

48 business hours for no charge. Cancellations inside 48 business hours are billed at 50 percent, and inside 24 business hours at 100 percent. There is no long-term contract, so you can pause or stop service anytime with notice.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes. We bring supplies, equipment, and HEPA-filter vacuums. If you want us to use your products instead, tell us ahead of time and we add it to your notes.

Do you clean on holidays or during storms?

We close on six holidays and on days severe weather closes local schools. In both cases we contact you to reschedule, usually one to two weeks ahead for holidays.
