Window and Glass Door Cleaning in Stuart, FL
Salt does not stay outside in this town. It rides in on the air off the St. Lucie River and the Indian River Lagoon, settles on glass, and dries into a film that a paper towel just smears around.
That is why window cleaning in Stuart is its own job. A house two miles inland does not deal with it. A house on Hutchinson Island or the Jensen Beach causeway deals with it year round.
Neat and Repeat Cleaning has handled Martin County homes since 1991. We know which side of a house takes the worst of it.
We want to be clear about scope, because this is where people get surprised.
Included on every cleaning visit: the inside and outside of your glass doors. Sliders, French doors, and patio doors all get done as part of your regular service.
Available as an add-on: additional windows beyond the glass doors. Tell us which ones and we will price them in.
Handled through a trusted partner: higher windows and full exterior window work. We coordinate it for you rather than pretend we do everything ourselves. One call, one point of contact.
That partner arrangement is deliberate. Ladder work on a two-story waterfront home is a different trade with different equipment. We would rather send the right crew than send ours.
Glass door cleaning rides along with your regular visit, so it is already covered under our house cleaning services in Stuart.
What is included, and what is an add-on
Why glass gets dirty faster on this side of the county
A few things stack up here.
Salt film is the big one. It builds on any glass facing open water and it does not rinse off in the rain the way ordinary dust does.
Sliding door tracks are the second. Sand and grit collect in them, then humidity turns that into a paste. Most people never look in the track until the door starts sticking.
Then there is the rainy season. From June through September the humidity holds dust against the glass instead of letting it fall. Spring adds oak and palm pollen on top.
If you run hurricane shutters, closing them traps whatever was already on the glass and holds it there until you open up again.
How we handle glass
Your regular team does the glass doors as part of the visit. They work the glass on both sides, then dry the frame so you are not left with drips on the trim.
For add-on windows, we look at what you have first. Interior-only, interior and exterior, and screened-porch glass are all different amounts of work, and the quote should say which one you are getting.
We use people-friendly and pet-friendly products. If you have tinted glass, coated glass, or older single-pane windows, tell us at the walkthrough and we will note it in your file.
Seasonal homes and glass
A closed-up house does not stop collecting salt.
Many homes in Sewall’s Point, on Hutchinson Island, and along the Jensen Beach waterfront sit empty from spring into fall. Glass facing the water picks up film that whole time. Tracks fill with grit.
We can clean the glass before you arrive for the season and again after you head north. Tell us how you actually use the house and we will build the schedule around it rather than sell you visits you do not need.
For the rest of the home, see our house cleaning service in Sewall’s Point.
Who is coming to your house
The same two people, every visit.
Our cleaners are W-2 employees. We carry workers’ compensation on all of them. The company is licensed, bonded, and insured. If someone gets hurt at your house, that is our problem to handle, not yours.
Our teams speak English and Spanish. Our Treasure Coast branch holds a 5.0 star rating across 345 Google reviews.
We clean in Stuart, Jensen Beach, Hutchinson Island, Sewall’s Point, Palm City, Rio, Hobe Sound, and Port St. Lucie.
How glass work gets quoted
Glass doors ride along with your regular cleaning price, so there is nothing extra to quote there.
For add-on windows, we quote after we see them. Count, height, access, and condition all change the number. We start with a ballpark on the phone and confirm it at the meet-and-greet before your first visit.
If a job turns out to need significantly more time than we planned, we call you before we go past the quoted amount. You can approve the extra time or tell us where to spend what is left.
There are no long-term contracts.
What we look at before quoting glass
Glass is one of the few jobs where a phone estimate can be badly wrong. So we look first.
Count and type. Sliders, French doors, casements, and fixed picture windows are all different amounts of work per opening.
Access. A slider you can reach from the patio is one job. A window over a pool deck is another.
Height. Anything requiring ladder work goes to our partner crew.
Condition. Glass that has gone a few seasons without cleaning needs more than a maintenance pass the first time.
Coatings and tint. Tinted film, low-E coatings, and older single-pane glass all get handled differently. Tell us at the walkthrough so it goes in your file.
Screens and enclosures. If you have screened porches or pool enclosures, point them out. We will confirm what is in scope before we quote rather than guess.
Once glass is on a schedule, it stops being a project. Most waterfront clients fold it into a recurring cleaning scheduleand never think about it again.
