House Cleaning on Palm Beach Island

Palm Beach is a long, narrow barrier island, and its homes are as varied as its streets. Oceanfront estates line South Ocean Boulevard. In-Town homes and condos sit near Worth Avenue. Lakeside homes look across the Lake Worth Lagoon from the Lake Trail. Each one needs a cleaning plan that fits how it is lived in.

Neat and Repeat Cleaning cleans homes on Palm Beach Island from our office at 1983 PGA Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens. We are a family business, mother and daughter. Rhonda Leon founded the company in Stuart in 1991, and her daughter, Rachel Duffie, runs our Palm Beach branch.

Who We Clean For on the Island

We clean for Palm Beach homeowners like these:

  • Owners who want one team that learns the house instead of a new crew every visit.

  • Owners who split time between Palm Beach and another home and want the house kept on a schedule while they are away.

  • Owners of large homes who need a quote that fits the real size of the job.

  • Owners who lost a longtime housekeeper and are starting over.

Same Two Faces, Most Visits

We usually clean in teams of two, and we try to send the same two technicians every time. We cannot promise it every week. People get sick and take vacations. When that happens, you hear it from us first, and we send another trained technician to work alongside one of your regulars.

There is also a system behind the team. When a technician signs in at your home, they can see your home's notes, like rooms to skip, products you prefer and where the pets stay. When they sign out, those notes close until the next visit. Your preferences travel with the job, not with one person's memory.

Getting Into an Island Home

Access is the part most cleaning pages skip. Here is how it works with us.

  • Keypads and lockboxes. A door keypad, garage keypad or lockbox works best. We can provide a secure lockbox for $30. We try not to hold keys for residential clients.

  • Alarms. Turn the alarm off before we arrive, or give us the code and steps. We reset it when we leave.

  • Gated buildings and streets. If your building or street is gated, tell us before you book. We will need all gate codes, or your gate staff should list Neat and Repeat Cleaning as an approved vendor for your cleaning days.

Seasonal Homes: The 78-Degree Rule

The Estate Section of Palm Beach, just south of Worth Avenue, is known for winter homes. If you leave for part of the year, you may raise the thermostat while you're gone.

That matters for cleaning. Our team will not clean a home with the air conditioning off or the inside above 78 degrees. It is a safety rule for our staff. If the air conditioning is broken or can't be turned on, the full cleaning price still applies, so please keep the air on for cleaning days.

You have two easy ways to handle time away:

Before the First Visit

A little prep helps your team spend its time cleaning, not tidying.

  • Pick up loose papers, clothes and toys so surfaces are clear.

  • Put dishes away so the kitchen can be cleaned fully.

  • Store valuables and personal items.

  • Keep pets away from the rooms being cleaned. Our team can't move pets from room to room.

  • For recurring visits, keep a 6-foot ladder or a three-step ladder with a rear rail on hand. We bring ladders for your first cleaning.

Fragile Pieces and Fine Finishes

Island homes often hold art, antiques and pieces that can't be replaced. Here is the honest way we handle them.

  • Put away what matters most. We ask clients to store fragile, valuable and sentimental items before a cleaning.

  • Tell us what to skip. A closed door tells our team not to clean that room. Notes cover the rest.

  • Some items stay off limits. We may decline to clean anything unstable, top-heavy or delicate, like some chandeliers or full curio cabinets.

  • Gentle products. Our products are neutral pH and safe on most finished surfaces, including sealed wood, natural stone, marble and granite.

How We Price an Island Home

Our pricing is based on labor hours. Two technicians working four hours equals eight labor hours. Most homes can be quoted over the phone. Homes over 5,000 square feet are not quoted by phone. Our team walks through the home to give you an accurate estimate.

Every price is confirmed when the team arrives. If the house needs more time than planned, we call you first. You can approve more time, or we focus on your priority rooms within the time booked. A home that has not been cleaned professionally in a while may need an initial deep cleaning before regular visits begin.

Most recurring clients start around $225 a cleaning and go up from there, and recurring clients receive a special discount. See our house cleaning prices for more.

Why Island Owners Choose Us

  • Every technician is a W-2 employee, background-checked, bonded and insured, with workers' comp.

  • Our technicians are ISSA Certified Professional Housekeepers, then trained again by us.

  • A manager or client services assistant does quality checks from time to time.

  • You get a short scorecard after each cleaning to tell us how we did.

  • We bring all standard cleaning supplies, including HEPA-filter vacuums. If you prefer your own products, just tell us.

  • No long-term contracts and no minimums.
