Getting Through the Steeplechase Gate

Gate access is the first thing to sort out, and it only takes a few minutes.

Tell us you're in Steeplechase when you call. We plan for gate access before we quote or book.
Give us your codes. We need every code it takes to reach your door, or your prior authorization for the team to enter.

That's it. One thing to know: if the team is held up at the gate for reasons outside our control, billing starts from the time the wait begins. Setting this up ahead of time keeps your visits on schedule.

Our residential cleanings run Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturdays may be available on request for special occasions.

Want a set time? The only guaranteed arrival time is the first appointment of the day, at 8:00 AM.
Later in the day? Your reminder shows a window of plus or minus 45 minutes, since the job before yours can run short or long.
Reminders. We send text or email reminders before each cleaning. Add your cleaning days to your own calendar too, since texts aren't always delivered.

Homes With Kids and Pets

Steeplechase allows pets, and family homes need a plan that works around them.

Safe products. Our products are neutral pH and safe around kids and pets, with no harsh smell to air out.
Pets stay put. Please keep pets away from the rooms being cleaned. Our team can't move pets from room to room.
Clear the floor. Pick up toys, clothes and papers before we arrive, so the team spends its time cleaning, not tidying.
Closed doors. A closed door tells our team to skip that room. If a door is closed for another reason, like keeping a dog in, call the office and we'll add a note.

What a Regular Visit Covers

Every Steeplechase home gets a routine built around it. A regular visit includes:

Kitchen. Counters and backsplash, cabinet and drawer fronts, the sink, stove and dishwasher exteriors, the microwave inside and out, and floors.
Bathrooms. Tubs and showers, toilets, vanities, mirrors, faucets and floors.
Living areas and bedrooms. Furniture and decor dusted, beds made, mirrors and glass, trash emptied, floors vacuumed and mopped.

Some detail items, like fan blades, baseboards and door frames, are cleaned on a rotation across your visits. That keeps every visit on time while the whole house stays cared for. If something can't be finished in the time booked, we'll let you know and offer to add time.

Starting Recurring Service

If your home hasn't been cleaned professionally in a while, we may start with an initial deep cleaning. A deep clean can take two to three times longer than a regular visit. It includes hand-washing baseboards and woodwork and reaching fans, vents and tall shelves from a 6-foot ladder.

We bring ladders for that first cleaning. For recurring visits, please keep a 6-foot ladder or a three-step ladder with a rear rail on hand.

Notes That Follow Your Home

You tell us once how you like things. Where the dog food goes. Which counters are marble. Which room stays off limits.

When a technician signs in at your home, they can see those notes. When they sign out, the notes close until your next visit. We try to send the same team of two every time. If one of them is out, another trained technician works alongside one of your regulars.

Moving Into or Out of Steeplechase

Buying or selling here? An empty house shows dirt you never noticed with furniture in place.

A move-in or move-out cleaning covers every surface, including baseboards, windowsills and light fixtures. It cleans switches and doorknobs, kitchen counters, sinks and appliance exteriors, and bathroom toilets, showers, tubs and tile. Floors are vacuumed and mopped throughout. You can add inside cabinets and drawers, inside the fridge and oven, or the garage.
