How Your First Visit Works

Before your first cleaning, we hold a short meet-and-greet at your home. We walk through it with you and note what you want done and what to skip.

The first visit is usually an initial deep clean, priced by labor hours. It brings the home up to a level your regular visits can hold. If your home is already in good shape, we tell you and skip it. Here is why recurring cleaning starts with an initial deep clean.

What a Regular Visit Covers

Kitchen counters, cabinet fronts, appliance outsides, the sink, and inside the microwave
Toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, mirrors, and bathroom floors
Dusting and surfaces in bedrooms and living areas
Floors vacuumed and mopped, and trash emptied

When Life Gets in the Way

Online, you will find people who got a surprise deep-clean fee because one visit slipped. Here is how we handle real life instead.

Need to move a visit? With more than 48 business hours of notice, there is no charge. Inside 48 business hours it is 50 percent of the job. Inside 24, or a lockout, it is the full fee.
Home needs extra time after a busy stretch? We call before we go past your quoted amount. You decide.
Heading north for the summer? Pause your service. There is no long-term contract.
Storm days. If severe weather closes local schools, we usually close too and call to reschedule. Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30.
Holidays. We close on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We reach out one to two weeks ahead to move your visit.

Arrival Times and Getting In

We clean Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The 8 AM first appointment of the day is the only fixed arrival time. Every other slot has a window of 45 minutes either way, because the job before yours can run short or long. You get a reminder before each visit.

You do not need to be home. We do not hold house keys. Most clients use a door keypad, a garage keypad, or a lockbox, and we can supply a lockbox for $30. In a gated community, add us to the gate house vendor list before the first visit.

The Same Two People, Every Visit

We work in teams of two, and it is the same two each time. They learn which room you want done first and where the dog's bowl goes. If one team member is out, the other works with a backup, so someone who knows your home is always there. Here is what happens when your regular cleaner is out.
